Important Voting Information

 

 October 24 Voter Registration Deadline: This is the last day to register to vote for the Pennsylvania General Election. Verify your voter registration status here.

 November 1 Mail Ballot Application Deadline: This is the last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot to vote in the Pennsylvania General Election.

 November 1 Vote Early In-Person Deadline: In PA, you can skip the lines and vote early in-person by going to specific local county offices, request your mail-in ballot, complete it and return it all at the same time. The early-in-person window ends on November 1.

 November 8 Vote-By-Mail Deadline: If you”ve received a mail-in ballot, you can vote-by-mail up until Election Day on November 8 at 8PM – your ballot must be received by the Board of Elections by 8PM on November 8, NOT postmarked (this means you shouldn”t mail it out on November 8!) Put it in the mail before November 1 to be safe, OR hand-deliver your ballot to a certified drop-off location or polling location before November 8 at 8PM.

 November 8 Election Day! You can vote in-person at your polling location on Election Day from 7AM to 8PM. If you are in line when the polls close, stay in line. You are entitled to vote. If you are submitting a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot, this is the last day to send it to your county board of election office. Mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by 8PM on November 8.
